- What is Rottly?
- Rottly is a study workspace for Rotman Commerce students at the University of Toronto. Each course has weekly modules with quizzes and flashcards, timed practice exams for the midterm and final, and every grading weight, deadline and AI policy from the course outline on one home screen.
- Which courses does Rottly cover?
- Rottly has public course pages for RSM219, RSM100, RSM222, RSM230, RSM250, MGT100, ECO101, ECO102, ECO200, ECO209, ECO220, MAT133, MAT135, CSC108: the Rotman Commerce core plus the economics, math and computer science courses most first- and second-year commerce students take. More are added each term; sign in to see the full list.
- Is Rottly free?
- Rottly is free to start. Paid plans unlock more: a single course, a bundle of three or five courses, a semester pass, or Rottly Pro monthly or annual. Current prices are on the pricing page.
- Where does the course information come from?
- Grading schemes, deadlines and AI policies are taken from the course outlines Rotman Commerce publishes each term, and course descriptions, prerequisites and exclusions from the Arts & Science Academic Calendar. Every course page links to its sources. The Faculty does not publish outlines for ECO, MAT and CSC courses, so those pages carry the calendar entry only.
- Can I use AI in my Rotman Commerce courses?
- It depends on the course, and the outline is the authority. For Fall 2026, each Rottly course page quotes its outline's generative-AI policy: RSM219 and RSM222 allow AI as a learning aid but not on assessments, RSM100 and MGT100 prohibit it for assignments, RSM250 rules it out for tests, papers, code and major assignments, and RSM230 encourages responsible use.
- Is Rottly affiliated with the University of Toronto or Rotman?
- No. Rottly is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the University of Toronto or the Rotman School of Management. Grading weights, deadlines and AI policies are taken from the published course outlines.
- Where can I use Rottly?
- Rottly runs in any browser at rottly.com, installs to your phone as a web app, and is also available as the Rottly iOS app. One account works everywhere.
- What happened to Nexus Study?
